Danielle stood in the shadows of the alley, waiting. It was a minute to 10 pm, and Mer was bound to arrive soon. A minute, to be exact. She had her gun on a strap on her belt, with was unusual for her.

Mer. I know you're there. It's 10 o' clock now. Come here.

Danielle called out teasingly. She knew that he had no choice but to come out, and she didn't care much. It was a game for her. And she had won.

Danielle smiled.

I know. And I'm sure you know how our meeting ended up.

Danielle said, mostly to herself, if not completely. She put her hand on her gun and watched Mer. This would be the last time that she would have to deal with him. But once he was dead, a new Mer would rise, most likely. Just like L. And Kira.

Danielle smiled and looked at Mer.

I will give this to L as soon as possible. He would love to see it. And as for this new Mer, I will find him. And he will have the same fate as you!

Danielle yelled as she took out her gun. She fire one round, right to where Mer would die from. Her eyes were wide. She won. Against this Mer.

Death is the only way to pay for crimes against Kira.

Danielle mumbled. She stood in the silence for a moment, to see if Mer was really dead.

Danielle said. Looking at the screen.

Now that this one is dead, it's your turn. I won this fight, and I will win the next one. Ours.

Danielle said, basically vowing to win. She had a smirk on her face as she said that.

Danielle laughed.

Do you honestly think that I let him see my face? He doesn't even know my name. Besides, I've already got all the TV stations under control. Nothing can be broad casted there without a special access code. And even if you were to hack it, I could just click one button and it would go back to it's normal broad casting. Or I could just use the excuse that he defied Kira, which he did.

Danielle looked into the camera.

No one would arrest me. I support Kira. He didn't. He was going to catch Kira. No true fan would let him do that. It's happened before. Kira supporters have killed non-Kira supporters many times before, who's to say this time they will get mad?

Danielle asked.

Danielle let the broad cast play. She watched it. She didn't care. Why should she? No one would want to kill her, right? Almost. She still had a few people to get rid of for Kira, then maybe Kira himself.

Some of the people were cheering when they heard the man that had died defied Kira. It made her smile. She tossed the jump drive in the air and caught it again.

She said, walking out of the alley. The people were paying too much attention to the broad cast that they didn't even notice the person on it was walking away, in the crowd.

Light and Misa aren't watching. They said that they would be busy today, and that they were going to be somewhere for business.

In fact, they weren't watching it.

When Danielle got home, she read the text. WHAT?! She opened her laptop and looked to see if it was true. It was.

That idiot!! Why didn't he just tell me?!

Danielle yelled. She yanked the jump drive out and threw it at the wall. Surprisingly, it was still in one piece after slamming against the wall and then falling on the floor. If this new Mer was also a hacker, he would probably contact her on her computer soon, maybe. She waited with the lap top open to see if he would. Just in case he did, she already had her head piece in so her voice was masked.
